Bio: Currently, I am the Reading Specialist for Lincoln Street School in Exeter, N.H. I received my degree in Education from Saint Joseph's College and my Master's in Literacy: Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment from Lesley University. In 2008, I was chosen as a Teacher Ambassador Fellow for the U.S. Department of Education. I continue to do outreach activities with the Department to provide avenues for teachers to have their voices heard around educational policies. I have taught in Maine, Washington, and New Hampshire. I have experience teaching Title 1 Reading and Math for grades 1st through 4th (3 years), 3rd grade (4 years) and Kindergarten (1 year). Also, I have experience as a Literacy Coach for grades K through 5th (2 years).
